The "Passport 2 College" is a "tuition-waived" program offered by DeVry University for rising junior and senior high school students to earn college credit in business and technology courses during the summer. Passport 2 College is open to ALL students who qualify by June 13, 2011.

The P2C session runs from July 5, 2011 to August 5, 2011.
BUSN 115--INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY
This course introduces business and the environments in which businesses operate. Students examine the roles of major functional areas of business and interrelationships among them. Organizational theorems and techniques are examined, and economic, cultural, political and technological factors affecting business organizations are evaluated.
Phoenix/Mesa Campus: 3 credit hours, 3 days week, T-W-Th
ECET 100--INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY WITH LAB
This course introduces basic concepts of the electronics and computer engineering technology field, including electronic components, introductory circuit analysis, digital logic, computer usage and design of microcontroller-based electronic systems using a flowchart approach.
Phoenix Campus: 4 credit hours, 3 days week, T-W-Th from 2:00pm -6:00pm.
NETW 202--INTRODUCTION TO NETWORKING WITH LAB
This course introduces the underlying technology of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet. Topics include networking media, the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model, transmission control protocol/Internet protocol (TCP/IP), an overview of routing and switching, and small network configuration and troubleshooting. Students prepare and test cabling and become familiar with protocol analyzers.
Phoenix/Mesa Campus: 3 credit hours, 3 days week, T-W-Th
Note: If a student earns an "A or B" in the NETW202 class, the student is eligible for the Cisco Scholarship - which qualifies for the following programs: BMET, Biomedical Engineering Technology; CET, Computer Engineering Technology; CIS, Computer Information Systems; ECT, Electronics & Computer Technology; EET, Electronics Engineering Technology; GSP, Game and Simulation Programming; HIT, Health Information Technology; NCM, Network & Communications Management; and NSA, Network Systems Administration.
WGD-201 VISUAL DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS
In this course students examine the foundation of visual design. Topics include the design process; elements of design, such as line, color, form, function and space, and combining elements for enhance visual design. Students explore these topics through various projects and by applying concepts using appropriate software. Mesa and Phoenix
CIS-115 LOGIC AND DESIGN
This course introduces basics of programming logic, as well as algorithm design and development, including constants, variables, expressions, arrays, files and control structures for sequential, iterative and decision processing. Students learn to design and document program specifications using tools such as flowcharts, structure charts and pseudocode. Program specification validation through desk-checking and walk-through is also covered. Glendale Center.

Steps for Passport2College Entry:
- Complete the application in-person or ONLINE
- Complete the Registration Forms on campus or via mail
- Parent signature is required for permission to take class
- Choose the class you wish to take
- Placement Exam must be scheduled to schedule your exam please contact Cheryl Bunting, Community Outreach Director at (602)749-4542
- Pass the Computerized Placement Test or provide ACT/SAT scores
- The CPT test is given as follows and must be scheduled:
- (note: the test takes approximately 2 hours to complete)
