Trip Reduction Plan (TRP)

Each time we drive our automobiles, they spew pollutants into the air.

On-road mobile sources of pollution have been a concern for years in the Valley of the Sun. Maricopa County continues to exceed the EPA national ambient air quality standards for carbon monoxide, ozone and particulates and this pollution has a negative affect on our health. For instance, we have one of the highest rates of chronic obtrusive lung disease in the nation! (Source: Maricopa County Trip Reduction Program website)

DeVry Phoenix, along with Maricopa County, is constantly seeking ways to help reduce the pollution that plagues our city and state. The DeVry Phoenix Trip Reduction Program is intended to help DeVry faculty and staff find alternative ways of transportation that will help in the fight against the brown cloud over our city!
