Student Handbook - Student Finance and AccountsStudent Finance A member of the Student Finance staff will be on campus Monday through Saturday in the Student Finance Office located in Student Central at the south-side of the Courtyard area. Students are urged to submit all paperwork by the published deadlines in order to receive aid. Also, students should respond promptly to any communication from the Student Finance Office in order to insure timely processing and avoid serious financial problems. Students should also inform the Student Finance Office of any special circumstances (such as divorce, separation, death in the family, loss of employment or benefits) that might occur during the award year. These situations will often make students eligible for additional aid. Ultimately, students are responsible for keeping account payments current. If students do not receive a billing from DeVry although they know they are supposed to get one, they should inquire at the Cashier Office rather than just ignore the matter. Finally, students have the right to appeal all initial award decisions through the submission of a written request to the Director of Student Finance, Mike Chase, or the Dean of Student Finance, Ms. Kathy Wyse.
