Student Handbook - Faculty/Student AssistantsPart-time Faculty Assistant and Student Assistant positions are available in limited number through the Dean of Academic Affairs Office. Available positions for Faculty Assistants include those of classroom assistant, laboratory assistant and tutors in the Academic Support Center. Available positions for Student Assistants include those of office assistant, library assistant, print shop assistant, courier and academic receptionist.Minimum requirements for a Faculty Assistant position include third-term enrollment status and a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Minimum requirements for a Student Assistant include third-term enrollment status and a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5. Students who are interested in assistant positions in the academic area should contact Laura Byers, Administrative Assistant, for further information and application forms. All other Student Assistant positions are publicized in the Student Services Office and school bulletin boards. Interested students should contact the appropriate department for these positions.
