Student Handbook Privacy Rights and Access to Education Records
DeVry respects the rights and privacy of its students and acknowledges the
responsibility to maintain confidentiality of personally identifiable
information. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as
amended (the ACT), is a Federal law that allows students to review certain
documents of their education records maintained by DeVry. This law also
provides that the University will maintain the confidentiality of the
students' records. DeVry, Inc. reserves the right to revise this policy
in accordance with the ACT at any time. Details of DeVry's compliance
with the ACT can be obtained from the Registrar's Office.
