Student HandbookDevry's Compliance With The Campus Security Act Of 1990 In Connection With The Possession Of Dangerous WeaponsIn compliance with the Campus Security Act of 1990, DeVry is committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. In connection with that aim, the possession of a dangerous weapon on campus is defined as misconduct. If a student is found to be in possession of a weapon on campus or if a weapon is observed in the student's vehicle while it is parked on campus, the student will be suspended from school for three (3) to five (5) days. Upon the student's return from suspension, the disciplinary process will be invoked, whose penalties may be up to and including expulsion. Return to: Student Handbook Contents
